Our Bed 2.0 impresses with its simplicity and variability. It has a height of 33 cm and can be used for many widths between 80 cm and 200 cm. The modular design makes it easy to enlarge or reduce the bed size, so you can always adapt it to your needs and even use it as a family bed. For extra-large people, the Bed 2.0 can be extended to an extra length of 220 cm. If you don't need it and want to use your space differently, simply fold it up - like a folding bed - and place the mattress against the wall. This way it can also be used as a space-saving guest bed. Thanks to its light weight, you can also carry the bed all by yourself - an absolute game changer when moving house.
Our Bed 2.0 is already pre-assembled for the most common mattress sizes. Many other sizes are possible with a simple conversion. The bed frame is designed in such a way that an additional slatted frame is unnecessary. The lying comfort of your mattress is thus not negatively influenced and sufficient air circulation underneath it is guaranteed by the open rhombic structure.
All our cardboard furniture is made from the highest quality heavy-duty cardboard. This makes them particularly stable and durable. The sophisticated construction ensures a high load-bearing capacity. Cardboard furniture is not only lightweight, but also ecologically sustainable. The corrugated cardboard we use consists of 54 to 80 % recycled material and is 100 % recyclable. Adhesives used are based on corn starch, paints are solvent-free and water-based. At the end of its life cycle, you can simply dispose of your bed in the waste paper bin and return it to the recycling system.
Compared to a conventional bed, the Bed 2.0 contributes 280 times less to global warming and consumes 8,000 times less energy. Due to its low weight, transport - which is climate-neutral for us anyway - is also 4 times more climate-friendly than a standard bed.

Matching mattresses & Co. An excellent complement to our sustainable cardboard bed is our sustainable natural latex mattress. Generally, all mattress types except futons are compatible with our Bed 2.0. However, make sure that the mattress is at least 15 cm high and medium-firm to firm.
Note for smooth floors: For smooth floors, we recommend placing an anti-slip mat under the bed to prevent slipping.
